She's been a chewer from day one. She's 8 1/2 months old now. I wonder when it will stop. It does seem to be getting a little better. Gina, we give her all kinds of bones and she buries them.
LOVE it! I have to say, I was always horribly embarrassed by how messy our place was whenever some one would visit this past spring when the puppies were little. No matter how often I cleaned up, they had it totally messy within a few hours. And it looked like we were total slobs. What I want to know is WHERE did they find a TOOTHBRUSH to leave in the buck pasture??? They must have raided a garbage bin at some point. Oh well, it's a good thing they are so CUTE, or it would be hard to put up with. :-)
On the bones, you might try a piece of antler. I have heard they they can chew and chew and chew on those without them disappearing. I guess if she buries it that wouldn't help...
A raw diet that has lots of bones (with meat on them) could help with the chewing.
The final pic sums it up beautifully. :)
ReplyDeletePlease stop! I can't stop laughing! May I suggest a supply of cow hoofs so your poor baby will have good chews?

ReplyDeleteThanks, I hadn't had my laugh quota today.
ReplyDeleteGoood thing she is SO cute. And her teeth aren't as sharp as they used to be so maybe the damage will lessen with time.
Bwahahahahaaaaaaaaa. That was good.
ReplyDeleteSo funny! That expression is priceless! Phyllis
